Katha Story Sharing Event

We’ve all been so busy with the event (and graduating!) that we almost forgot to blog. The Story Sharing event was a huge success. The children created their own bags with Indian stencils, they dressed up in traditional Indian clothes and they ate from our Indian buffet. To top it all off they were greeted by our storyteller Peter Chand and were awarded with the finished Katha Schools Project book.

The children of Wray-with-Botton Primary and Caton Primary school (and their teachers!) learning Bhangra dancing with Peter Chand.

Peter Chand was fantastic! I hope he returns to Lancaster soon. He got all the children dancing and we even got some of his moves out at Graduation Ball!

Thanks to all the volunteers and LUSU staff! I hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as I did. Let’s do it all again next year?
